In the construction of driving and extracting steel sheet piles, the reasonable choice of high-pressure water jet pilot equipment directly affects construction efficiency, pile protection, and cost control. When choosing pilot equipment, you can consider factors like geological conditions, construction needs, and equipment compatibility to select the right equipment parameters.
The selection is mainly based on geological conditions. For dense sand layers and hard clay layers, high-flow equipment can be selected with cemented carbide nozzles to enhance the drilling effect. If sensitive areas in the city are involved, vehicle-mounted or portable equipment that is low-noise and easy to move must be selected to reduce environmental disturbance. There is no need for high-pressure equipment in soft soil or silt layers, and low-pressure models can be
selected to reduce energy consumption and costs.
Secondly, it is combined with construction parameter matching. Determine the equipment flow rate (normally 170-300L/min) based on the steel sheet pile model and driving depth. For deep piles or wide piles, the flow rate needs to be
increased to ensure the pilot hole range. For pile pulling operations, equipment with adjustable water pressure is preferred. The adsorption force of the pile and soil is destroyed through precise pressure control to avoid damage to the pile
body.
Finally, taking into account the practicality and economy of the equipment, give priority to models that are easy to operate and maintain to reduce labor costs; compare the energy consumption, failure rates and after-sales guarantees of different equipment to select the optimal cost-effective solution.
