Currently, there are two methods for treating dirt and oxide scale on metal surfaces: chemical treatment and physical treatment. Chemical treatment primarily involves acid pickling, which works by inducing chemical reactions on the metal surface to corrode it, thereby achieving the treatment goal. However, chemical treatment has the disadvantages of requiring a large area, complex processes, and severe environmental pollution. In particular, the wastewater treatment after chemical treatment is challenging and requires significant investment. Physical treatment can generally be divided into shot blasting, air sandblasting, high-pressure water technology, and other methods. High-pressure water technology is further divided into pure water treatment and high-pressure water sandblasting. Pure water treatment requires high system pressure, large flow rate, and high driving power. Compared to high-pressure water sandblasting, it has lower pressure and power, higher treatment efficiency, and cost savings.
Working principle of high-pressure water sandblasting: The high-pressure water generated by the high-pressure water jetting device is sprayed out from the sandblasting head through the high-pressure pipeline, creating negative pressure in the sandblasting chamber. The standby sand is introduced into the sand tube, and the sand in the sand tube moves towards the sandblasting chamber due to the pressure difference. It mixes with the high-pressure water in the sandblasting chamber, accelerates its movement, and is quickly sprayed out, striking the metal surface and exerting a certain cutting and grinding effect on it. This causes the non-essential dirt, grease, rust, oxide scale, etc. on the metal surface to peel off instantly, revealing the metallic luster of the metal surface and achieving the desired surface effect.
